NTI BIZ PRO AWARDS 2008 – A GRAND EVENING OF ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACCOLADES

The one who dares to dream, WINS! Amidst thunderous applause, the WINNERS of the BizPro award 2008 were announced. Basking in their glory, the WINNERS portrayed a message of commitment, trust, vision and experience. In the pursuit of excellence - The WINNERS shall leave behind footprints of success in the sands of time.

The NTI BizPro Award ceremony, a memorable evening for one and all, was held at the Grand Hyatt. Chief Guest, Mr. Abdul Razak Ali Issa, the Chief Executive of Bank Muscat, graced the occasion and presided over the glittering ceremony last evening.

The award theme was to applaud professional excellence, hand in hand with personal skills, and setting standards and healthy traditions to be imbibed and followed.

In the category of BUSINESS LEADER AWARD 2008, Dr. Amer Al Rawas, the Managing Director of Oman Mobile, stood out sending thrills of exhilaration amidst the gathered crowd. The 3 YOUNG ACHIEVERS who were showered with accolades – Mr. Baha Mohammed Ridha Nooruddin Al Lawati and Mr. Asim Mohammed Bahram Al Zadjali represented ‘Omantel’, and Ms. Fatma Khalid Al-Siyabi was from ‘Shell Oman Marketing Company’. They celebrated their moment of accomplishment as their distinguished performance was given due recognition.
 

	Mr. Lawrence Alva, General Manager, NTI stated that “Competence is a combination of Knowledge, Skills and Attitude and cannot be taught at a business school, it has to be practiced and nurtured. All the participants of the BizPro award have demonstrated the grit and determination to succeed and grow. They are all WINNERS in the true sense of the word.”  A visionary leader and Chief Guest for the evening, Mr. Abdul Razzak presented the trophies to the winners. HH Sayyid Tariq bin Shabib, conveyed a motivational and inspiring message to the contestants emphasizing that nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside of them was superior to the circumstance. Successful Business leader & CEO of Renaissance Services SAOG, Stephen Thomas congratulated the winners and handed over scholarships to the Business Leader and Young Achievers worth RO 5000 and RO 2500 respectively, sponsored by Renaissance Services SAOG.

New Horizons - Oman Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions

New Horizons Computer Learning Centre (NHCLC), a well-known name in IT training solutions in the Sultanate has become Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. National Training Institute LLC (NTI), as part of Renaissance Education & Training Group (RETG), operates New Horizons Computer Learning Centre in Oman.

“We are honoured to receive this status. It reaffirms our commitment to deliver superior learning services to businesses and individuals through state-of-the-art technology from Microsoft,” said Lawrence Alva, General Manager, NTI.

The General Manager, Microsoft Gulf, Mr. Fakhoury presented the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Learning Solutions plaque to Mr. Lawrence Alva.
